Thousands and thousands of potential victims of scam mail don't have internet
access and are never likely too, so the 
scam
mail helpline is a very important tool.
The helpline is managed by BT and can handle hundreds of calls simultaneously, so it should never be engaged for our very important callers.
We wish it could be a FREEphone number but does
not receive any public funding.
